This chicken is Soo good! And the best part about it is how easy it is too. If your family is anything like my family, they'll be going back for seconds. It's THAT good...
What you'll need:
- Crockpot
- Chicken breast tenderloins or chicken cutlets. Whichever you prefer.
- Organic Olive Oil
- Garlic powder
- Minced onion
- Onion powder
- Gratef parmesan cheese
Instructions:
- Turn on your crockpot heat on HIGH. Becausr chicken is a meat that you want to make absolute sure is cooked thoroughly, placing your crockpot on the highest setting for a few hours - at least when it's first starting to cook ensures that you don't get an upset stomach later on. For me personally, I'll keep it on high from beginning to end of cooking. This ensures safety and peace of mind for me and my family and the chicken still tastes absolutely amazing...
- Next, coat the bottom of the crockpot with your olive oil. We're not wanting the bottom of your dish to be soaked / filled like a pool here. A nice even lining at the bottom of the dish will work just great!
- Place your chicken into the crockpot.
- Again, with the olive oil we're going to lather it across, around and all over the chicken. Here, we want no dry spots.
- Now for the fun part. I always think sprinkling seasoning onto your cooking is like sprinkling magic ✨ Am I right or am I right? We're going to grab our garlic powder and just season it all over. I have to be honest you guys, I've never been one for measuring seasonings. So in my recipes, that's something you'll notice. I just go with what visually looks and smells delicious. So with my cooking recipes when it comes to using seasonings please use a good sense of judgement. You know yourself better than anyone else. Don't add too much if you hate salt because that's what seasoning basically is, right? Don't add too much, if you have cholesterol problems, etc, etc. Please be mindful.
- Add your minced onion, onion powder, and parmesan cheese.
- Let this cook covered on high for 6-8 hours or on low for 8-10 hours.
- Allow five minutes to cool before serving and enjoy!
When I make this meal, I love to add a carb and a veggie. My kids are very VERY picky so sometimes this can be tricky, but we came across The Little Potato Company while grocery shopping, and we've been hooked ever since. The kids love these bite sized , delicious baked potatoes, and they come in so many different flavors. They are a life saver sometimes. And when all else fails, and I cannot convince them enough to eat greens of any sort, we always resort to corn. #Momlife
If you tried this recipe, I'd love to know what you thought of it. Thanks so much for stopping by!
Until next time my beautiful people,
Jess ❤️
