We're pretty lucky here in New York because we experience all four seasons - Fall being my absolute favorite, summer being my second, spring being my third and winter last... (Sorry snow).
There is so many things I love about the fall:
- The chilly weather
- The fun, Halloween festivities and of course, HALLOWEEN!
- The leaves changing color and how gorgeous it looks everywhere you look!
- People decorating their houses, and getting to admire that all while being able to decorate your house (if you're into that).
- SWEATER WEATHER
- French vanilla cappuccino's and white hot chocolate, yum!
Summer is great, because you can still dress super cute - BUT I love my denim, booties, scarves, sweaters, cardigans, beanies, cozy long sleeves and pretty much anything fall oriented.
The funny thing about fall is, at least here in Buffalo - our temperatures could be FREEZING in the morning time, and then come afternoon, especially if you've been out and about all day, it could feel like summer all over again because it could go from 44° to 77° real quick and you're sweating your butt off if you aren't prepared.
My typical fall outfit looks a lot like this, but I've learned to keep a t-shirt handy because you really just never know. I've made that mistake a few times while running errands - I'll walk into the grocery store and it's still chilly so I'm not worried about what I'm wearing - but as soon as I leave the store it's like, HOLY MOLY..., who turned the sun on?
Hahaha
I crack myself up sometimes....
Is it just me? Okay 🙆🙈
But on a real note you guys, if you didn't know about how to dress for fall weather, my biggest recommendation is to dress warm BUT pack something extra that's lighter just in case because you truly never know. And if you needed fall Inspiration, nothing beats a cozy sweater, with your favorite denim jeans, a pair of booties (the heel does not have to be high to make a statement) and your favorite beanie to complete the look.
Until next time my beautiful people,
Jess
