My daughter's birthday recently passed and she was turning six years old! To some, that might not be a big deal - but I still can't believe my baby is SIX!
Oh my gosh .. where has the time gone?
I wanted to get her something extraordinarily special because well, you only turn six once, and she deserves the world and so much more!
The first thing that immediately came to mind was a giraffe of some sort. My daughter LOVES giraffes.
So, I looked at giraffe earrings and necklaces. I even looked at giraffe dolls. But none of them seemed to be the "right gift". Until I came across this ultra cuddly and super soft giraffe plush stuffed animal on Amazon. That was it!
I knew from the moment I saw it that my daughter would fall in love. That it would be her new favorite friend and snuggle partner. So I snagged it without a second thought.
When the giraffe arrives in the mail, it just so happened to come in the day before her birthday. So, while she was in school, her little brother and I decided to wrap it. As soon as Rylan (Gracie's little brother) saw the giraffe, be gave it an immediate snuggle. My first thought was "oh geeze, now I need to buy a second one".
Come her birthday, she opens up all of her gifts. Meanwhile, I save the giraffe for last...
Let's just say, as soon as she saw her adorable new friend, she gave it the biggest smile and hug a girl could ever give. And this mama felt so so happy!
Rylan wanted a snuggle buddy just like "Cherry The Giraffe", so I went back into my Amazon app. I saw that this exact giraffe had only a few left in stock, so I put a second one in my cart just in case. But honestly, this was special to Gracie. And even though she gave the okay to let Rylan have his own, this was HER very special gift. Something in my heart just said I couldn't get the same exact thing that means so much to her.
So I searched for something similar, just as snuggly, but has it's differences. And then I found the cutest zebra I just knew he'd adore. So, I immediately snagged on that.
And here's my thoughts for both the giraffe and zebra...
They came in super fast!
To be honest, I don't even have Amazon Prime, but both stuffed animals arrived 2-3 days after purchase. That's incredible.
They are so so soft!
They aren't made out of any type of weird, hard or scratchy feeling material. These stuffed animals are truly soft, made of high quality materials, and are ready to be loved!
They are a great size.
Not flimsy or super tiny at all. These stuffed animals are a great size and actually sit up very well all on their own.
Affordable
Literally a fantastic price. It cannot be beat. Compared to so many other stuffed animals on the market today, these are priced just right. I would spend $14 on these plushies any day if the week. Affordable and worth every penny.
